Commonly called Tether Cars or Spindizzies, this Depression Era sport was huge! Some of these toy speed cars would reach speeds of over 100 mph.

The `1930's was a most interesting era. The 30s market crash made many people stay home and concentrate on hobbies. One of these was car racing for guys. Elaborate, scale-built track racers were home built and taken to a local racing track to compete. This was big! Authentic Models purchased selected originals priced astronomically at auction. These were then re-issued as a limited edition series of 30s racecars. These to-scale models include all the details... only the engines are non-working due to liability laws.
