Soft feathers have a curve in the barbs giving the tree an aged worn look. This look is preferred by those who want an antique look to their tree.

The barbs on the stiff feathers are just that - stiff and straight. This gives the branches a little bit larger diameter and more of a new or contemporary look.

Dennis Bauer is one of the country's premier feather tree makers.
His craftsmanship is the finest in today's market. These Christmas feather trees are accurately reproduced using antique feather trees as examples.
