Bottle Brush Trees
"Brush trees continued to be a popular decoration on table arrangements as well as under the tree. During this decade, sizes up to nineteen inches were made. Some of the Japanese-manufactured trees had chains of multi-colored glass beads draped in a spiral fashion on the trees. The applied snow was not as fine as it was in other decades. It was applied in clumps and often had glitter sprinkled on it. In order to fit the Fifties home decor, these trees appeared in some very novel colors, including a bright pink, pale and dark blue, deep red, and even a yellowish-green."
Rarer 1950's Japanese-manufactured red brush trees.
Other colors included pink, blue, purple, and white.
